About the Journal

The International Journal of Poverty, Investment and Development (IJPID) is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes original research articles, review articles, and case studies on various aspects of poverty, investment, and development. The journal is hosted by CARI Journals, a leading publisher of academic journals in Africa and beyond. The journal has an online ISSN of 2958-2458 and a DOI of 10.47941/ijpid. The journal aims to provide a platform for scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and activists to share their insights, experiences, and solutions on the complex and multidimensional issues of poverty, investment, and development. The journal covers topics such as poverty measurement and analysis, poverty alleviation strategies and policies, poverty and inequality dynamics, social protection and safety nets, human development and capabilities, sustainable development goals and indicators, investment climate and opportunities, investment promotion and facilitation, investment impact and evaluation, development finance and aid effectiveness, development cooperation and partnerships, development theories and paradigms, development ethics and values, and development education and communication. The journal is global in scope and welcomes contributions from authors from all regions and disciplines. The journal is open access, which means that all articles are freely available online without any charges or subscriptions. Open access also ensures high visibility and promotion of the articles to a wide audience.
