About the Journal

Journal of Environment (JE) is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes original research articles, review articles, and case studies in all areas of environmental science and engineering. The journal is hosted by CARI Journals under ISSN: 2789-3863 (Online) and DOI: 10.47941/je. The aim and scope of the journal is to provide a platform for researchers and practitioners to share their findings and insights on various environmental issues and solutions. The journal covers topics such as environmental chemistry, environmental engineering, environmental management, environmental health, environmental biotechnology, environmental economics, environmental policy, and environmental education. The journal is global and of open access, which means that the articles are freely available online for anyone to read, download, and cite. Open access also enhances the visibility and impact of the published work, as it can reach a wider audience and be indexed in more databases. The journal uses the Open Journal Systems (OJS) software, which is a journal management and publishing system that has been developed by the Public Knowledge Project. OJS supports the entire editorial process, from submission to publication, and provides tools for online peer review, editing, proofreading, layout, and publication. The authors retain the copyrights of their articles and grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish them. The authors are also responsible for obtaining permission from the copyright holders of any third-party materials that they use in their articles. The journal follows the ethical standards of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and expects the authors to adhere to them as well. The journal is indexed in several databases, such as Google Scholar, EBSCOhost, Slicit, Crossref and many others. These databases provide access to the journal's content and metadata, as well as link it to other related publications.  The journal publishes articles on a monthly basis and issues certificates for publication to the authors. Upon publication, the authors will also receive a link to their publication and a PDF copy of their publication. The authors who require a hardcopy print of the issue in which their paper appears can make orders and pay for them on demand. Publishing in JE has many benefits for the authors, such as: contributing to the advancement of environmental science and engineering; reaching a global audience of researchers and practitioners; enhancing their academic reputation and career prospects; retaining their intellectual property rights; getting feedback from peer reviewers and editors; receiving professional support from the editorial team and enjoying fast and efficient publication process.
