About the Journal

The Journal of Historical Studies (JHS) is an online, peer-reviewed, open access journal published by CARI Journals. The aim and scope of the journal is to provide a platform for scholars and researchers to share their original and innovative contributions on various aspects of history, such as political, social, cultural, economic, and intellectual history. The journal welcomes articles that explore historical issues from a global, comparative, or interdisciplinary perspective. The journal is indexed in several databases, such as Google Scholar, EBSCOhost, Slicit, Crossref and many others. This ensures high visibility and promotion of your articles among the academic community and beyond. As an open access journal, the JHS allows free access to its contents for readers and researchers worldwide. Moreover, the authors retain the copyrights of their articles and can reuse them for other purposes. The journal publishes articles on a monthly basis and provides certificates for publication to the authors. Upon publication, the authors will also receive a link to their publication and a PDF copy of the publication. If the authors require a hardcopy print of the issue in which their paper appears, they can make orders and pay for them on demand. Publishing in the JHS is beneficial for several reasons. First, it offers a fast and rigorous peer-review process that ensures the quality and originality of your work. Second, it provides a wide dissemination and exposure of your research to a global audience. Third, it enhances your academic reputation and career prospects by increasing your citations and impact factor. Fourth, it supports the advancement of historical knowledge and scholarship by fostering dialogue and collaboration among historians.
