About the Journal

Journal of International Relations and Policy (JIRP) is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes original research articles on various aspects of international relations and policy. The journal is hosted by CARI Journals, a leading publisher of academic journals in Africa and beyond. JIRP aims to provide a platform for scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to share their insights and perspectives on global issues and challenges. JIRP is indexed in several databases, such as EBSCOhost, Slicit, Crossref and many more, which enhance the visibility and impact of the published articles. The journal has an ISSN of 2958-4779 (online) and a DOI of 10.47941/jirp. The journal follows the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), which allows the authors to retain the copyrights of their articles and permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited. JIRP publishes articles on a monthly basis and provides certificates for publication to the authors. Upon publication, the authors will receive a link to their article online and a PDF copy of the issue. The authors can also request a hardcopy print of the issue at an additional cost.
